Learn How to Win Material: Fork Tactic
This middlegame puzzle is a classic example of a fork tactic that wins material by forcing the opponent’s king and key pieces into an awkward response. The position is already tactically loaded: one side has a strong knight outpost, active piece placement, and a vulnerable queen-side structure, while the other king is exposed enough for a forcing sequence. In classical chess, these combinations often decide games because the defender cannot safely meet every threat at once.
