Learn How to Attack f7: Mate in 2
This puzzle comes from the Slav Defense Exchange Variation and shows a classic attacking f7 pattern in the opening. White’s queen and knight coordinate to exploit the exposed black king and the loose coordination of Black’s pieces. The key idea is not material gain, but forcing the king into a vulnerable square where the final blow becomes unavoidable. It’s a great example of how active piece placement can outweigh a material deficit in classical chess.
