Learn How to Use a Queen Sacrifice: Interference
This middlegame puzzle is a classic example of interference: one side uses a forcing sacrifice to drag a defender away and open a decisive line for the queen. The position looks materially balanced at first glance, but the king is already exposed and the defending pieces are overloaded. In classical chess, these tactical imbalances often matter more than raw material. Once the key defender is removed, the remaining threats become impossible to meet, and the attack turns into a forcing sequence.
