Learn How to Deflect the King: Queenside Attack
This middlegame puzzle is a classic example of a queenside attack built on deflection and king safety. White’s queen is active on the a-file, and the black king is vulnerable because key defenders are overloaded. The idea is to force the king into a worse square, then use the queen and bishop to keep the pressure on the b-file and surrounding dark squares. Even though Black has extra material, the exposed king makes the position tactically fragile.
