Learn How to Win Material: Pin Tactic
This middlegame puzzle shows how a well-timed bishop move can create a powerful pin against the enemy queen and king. The key idea is that the pinned queen cannot safely move, because doing so would expose the king. Once the queen is overloaded and tied to the king, a simple follow-up wins material by forcing a recapture with a lower-value piece. These tactics often appear in classical chess when one side has better piece activity and a lead in development.
