Philidor Defense Attack Defender Chess Puzzles

The Philidor Defense Attack Defender is a tactical motif in the Philidor Defense where one side attacks a key defender to break through the position. It often appears after the opening moves 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d6, when Black’s setup can leave the e5 pawn, f6 square, or back-rank pieces vulnerable to pressure. The idea is to force a defender away or overload it so the main target becomes tactically loose.
