Najdorf Deflection Chess Puzzles

Najdorf Deflection is a tactical motif in the Sicilian Najdorf where White or Black lures a key defender away from an important square, usually to open a file, diagonal, or mating line. It often appears after the Najdorf structure with ...a6 and ...e5, when one side can force a piece or pawn to leave its defensive duty. The defining feature is that the defender is pulled off the critical square just before a decisive capture or attack.
