Learn How to Mate in 1: Kingside Attack
This puzzle is a classic kingside attack in a middlegame setting where the defender’s king has very little air and the key squares around it are overloaded. The attacking side has active pieces aimed at the king zone, and the final blow comes from a direct queen sacrifice-style finish that cannot be met by a normal defense. In classical chess, these patterns often appear when one side’s pieces coordinate on the h-file and the king’s shelter has already been weakened.
