Kan Sicilian Discovered Check Chess Puzzles

The Kan Sicilian Discovered Check is a tactical motif that can arise from the Kan variation of the Sicilian Defense, usually after Black develops the queen’s knight to c6 and keeps the position flexible with ...e6 and ...a6. It happens when a piece moves away to reveal a check from a rook, bishop, or queen that was previously blocked. In this opening, the discovered check often appears in sharp middlegame positions where lines are opened against the enemy king or queen.
