Learn How to Deflect: Kingside Attack
This puzzle is a classic middlegame mating net built around deflection and king safety. White’s king is still relatively safe, but Black’s pieces coordinate against the h-file and the exposed king zone. The key idea is to lure the defending king away from its shelter so the final attack lands with force. In classical chess, these patterns often appear when a queen and bishop or queen and knight work together to overload the defense and create a forced finish.
