GrüNfeld Defense Decoy Chess Puzzles

The Grünfeld Defense Decoy is a tactical motif in the Grünfeld where one side lures a key piece, usually the queen, bishop, or knight, onto a square that makes it vulnerable to attack or removes it from defending the center. It often appears after ...d5 and ...Bg7 structures, when White’s central pawns or pieces can be tempted forward and then targeted. The defining feature is that the decoyed piece becomes overworked or misplaced, allowing a follow-up win of material or a stronger central break.
