Learn How to Win Material: Pin Tactic
This middlegame puzzle is a classic example of a tactical refutation built around a pin and a hanging piece. White’s attack works because Black’s king position and loose coordination create immediate tactical targets. The key idea is to use forcing moves to overload the defender, then exploit the pinned pawn and exposed queen-side pieces. Even though Black is materially ahead, the position collapses once the king is dragged into the line of fire and the defended piece can no longer be protected.
