Learn How to Win with a Fork: Chess Endgame Tactic

This puzzle is a classic chess endgame tactic where activity matters more than material count. Black uses forcing checks to drag the white king into a vulnerable square, then wins by creating a fork-like sequence that overloads the defender and exposes loose pieces. Even though White has extra material, the king’s safety and piece coordination are too fragile. In classical chess, these positions often reward the side with the initiative, not the side with the bigger pawn count.
