Fork Advanced Puzzle (Rated 2015): Fork — Quiet Move

A quiet move can be more powerful than an immediate capture because it creates several threats at once. In this middlegame puzzle, Black uses queen and rook coordination to exploit a pinned bishop and the exposed white king. The key idea combines a quiet move, a discovered attack, and removal of a defender. Once White tries to resolve the immediate pressure, a tactical fork appears and Black gains a decisive advantage.
