Learn How to Deflect the Defender: Winning Combination
This puzzle shows a classic deflection idea in a sharp chess endgame. White’s queen and rooks are active, but Black has a forcing tactical resource that turns the position by dragging a defender away from its key square. Once that defender is removed, the remaining pieces can coordinate against the white king and loose material. The position is also a good reminder that a hanging piece can become the target of a forcing sequence when checks are available.
