Learn How to Mate in 2: Kingside Attack
This middlegame puzzle is a classic king-safety lesson: one side’s pieces are active, the enemy king is exposed, and the final attack is driven by forcing checks. In classical chess, the strongest tactical ideas often come from coordination between queen and bishop, especially when the defender’s pieces are overloaded or pinned. Here, the attack works because the king has very limited escape squares and the checking piece controls the key flight squares.
