Centralized King Puzzle (Rated 600): Centralize the King — Tactical Refutation
This puzzle shows how a centralized king can become the target of a forcing tactical sequence even in a middlegame with active pieces on both sides. White’s king is exposed to direct pressure, while Black’s pieces coordinate to win material and keep the initiative. The key idea is that tactical threats can override static material, especially when a pinned piece, a loose queen, and an overloaded defender appear together. Once the first capture opens lines, the rest of the combination becomes forcing.
