Attraction Advanced Puzzle (Rated 1905): Attack — Pin Tactic
A discovered attack becomes powerful when one piece moves away and reveals pressure from another piece behind it. In this middlegame position, king safety is the critical issue: White’s queen and knight create threats around the black king, while a pinned bishop cannot respond freely. Black’s best defensive idea uses forcing checks to gain time and activate the queen. The lesson is that tactical activity can outweigh apparent material opportunities when the opponent’s king and pieces are poorly coordinated.
