Samuel Reshevsky (Black) Puzzle: Fork — Win Material

A fork is a tactical pattern in which one piece attacks two or more valuable targets at once. In this chess endgame, Black uses an active bishop to exploit White’s vulnerable piece placement and create a decisive material gain. The key idea is to notice that a seemingly ordinary capture also creates a check, forcing the opponent to respond while a second target remains under attack. Forks are especially powerful when the attacked piece has very limited escape squares.
