Pal Benko (Black) Puzzle: Double Check — Tactics

A double check is among the most forcing weapons in classical chess. One piece moves with check while simultaneously uncovering a line from another attacker, leaving the defending king facing two threats at once. Because only a king move can answer a double check, the defender cannot capture one checking piece, interpose, or counterattack. This makes the motif especially powerful against an exposed king with weakened surrounding squares.
