Oldrich Duras (White) Puzzle: Use a Pin — Win Material
An absolute pin is one of the most forcing tactical weapons in classical chess. A piece pinned to its king cannot legally move, so it may become a target even when it appears protected or valuable. In this position, the centralized king and active heavy pieces create a tactical imbalance: Black can convert pressure on the open files into a decisive material gain. The key is recognizing that king safety outweighs White’s modest material edge and advanced passed pawn.
