Ljubomir Ljubojevic (White) Puzzle: Capture — Tactics

A capture tactic is strongest when it does more than win a loose piece: it also disrupts the opponent’s attack and changes the balance of material immediately. In this position, Black must assess the exposed attacking rook, the active queen and bishop, and White’s centralized king. The key is recognizing that a seemingly dangerous attacking unit can be taken safely, leaving Black with a decisive material edge while White’s remaining pressure lacks enough force to compensate.
