Henry Bird (White) Puzzle: Fork — Forcing Checks

A fork is especially powerful when it begins with check. The checked king must respond immediately, giving the attacking side time to target a valuable piece that cannot be saved at the same time. In this middlegame, White’s active rooks create pressure near the black king, but White’s own king safety is fragile. Black can exploit that vulnerability with a forcing queen check that also attacks a rook, turning apparent activity into a decisive material gain.
