Etienne Bacrot (White) Puzzle: Double Check — Attack
A double check is one of chess’s most forcing tactical patterns: two separate pieces give check at the same time. Because both threats must be answered, the defender normally has only one practical resource—the king must move. This makes double checks especially powerful when the enemy king has limited flight squares, its own pieces block escape routes, and your queen or rook already controls key lines. The central lesson is to prioritize king safety and forcing checks before considering material gains.
