David Anton Guijarro (White) Puzzle: Skewer — Rook Checks

A skewer is a line tactic in which a valuable piece is forced to move, exposing a less valuable piece or target behind it. In this chess endgame, the centralized king and active rooks make forcing checks especially powerful. The key is not simply to give check, but to use the check to rearrange the defender’s pieces. Once the king is displaced, a rook can attack along a newly opened rank or file and turn temporary pressure into decisive material gain.
