Borislav Ivkov (Black) Puzzle: Draw — Rook Checks
This chess endgame is a lesson in active defense. Although one side has an extra rook, the opposing advanced pawns create serious promotion threats. The defender must use the rook at maximum activity, giving checks from a safe distance and forcing the king away from useful squares. The goal is not to win material immediately, but to keep the enemy king exposed, preserve checking tempo, and prevent the passed pawns from being converted.
