Bobby Fischer (White) Puzzle: Fork — Skewer
This chess endgame tactic shows how active bishops can overturn a large material deficit. A pinned enemy piece stands between the attacking bishop and the king, making it unable to escape or defend normally. By capturing with check, White forces the king onto a restricted square while keeping the bishop on a line toward a more valuable target. The result is a classic skewer: the king must respond first, and material behind it becomes vulnerable.
