Artur Jussupow (White) Puzzle: Capture — Checks
This chess endgame is a lesson in turning activity into a concrete capture. Although White’s advanced passed pawns and active pieces look dangerous, Black’s rook has checking access against the exposed king. The forcing checks deny the king useful defensive squares and leave White’s overloaded minor pieces unable to escape. Once the king is displaced, a hanging piece can be collected, giving Black the decisive material gain needed to neutralize White’s dangerous pawn mass.
