Alexander Donchenko (Black) Puzzle: Draw — Perpetual Check
A perpetual check is a drawing resource in which the attacking side keeps checking the enemy king until the same position repeats. It is especially important in a chess endgame or reduced-material position, where a queen’s mobility can outweigh static weaknesses. Here, Black’s queen can use the exposed geometry around White’s king to maintain initiative. Although White has active pieces and pressure against Black’s kingside, repeated checks prevent White from converting that activity into a win.
