Learn How to Win Material: Hanging Piece Tactic
This puzzle comes from the Zukertort Opening and shows a classic opening tactic based on a hanging piece and direct material gain. White has overextended the bishop on h6, and Black can punish that loose piece while also opening lines against the rook on g1. The key idea is that one tactical shot can change the evaluation immediately, especially when a capture creates a discovered attack or forces a sequence with check. In the opening, active piece coordination often matters more than static structure.
