Learn How to Exploit a Kingside Attack: Tactical Refutation
This puzzle comes from the Sicilian Defense, Old Sicilian, and shows how a kingside attack can turn into a decisive tactical refutation. White’s queen has become overextended, and Black can use the exposed king side to create forcing threats against the white king. The key idea is that a seemingly active queen and bishop setup can hide tactical weaknesses when pieces are overloaded or pinned. In sharp middlegame positions, one forcing move can completely change the evaluation.
