Learn How to Win a Discovered Attack: Crushing Tactic
This puzzle is a classic middlegame discovered attack: one piece moves away and suddenly opens a stronger line for another attacker. The key idea is that the bishop on the diagonal creates direct pressure on the enemy king and also interferes with the defender’s coordination. When the king is exposed and a key piece is pinned or overloaded, a forcing tactical sequence can win material quickly. In classical chess, these patterns often decide games before the endgame begins.
