Sicilian Defense French Variation Puzzle (Rated 998): Attack a Weakened King

When the king's pawn shield is cracked, material stops telling the story. Here Black has the bishop pair and a big material edge, yet every piece points the wrong way: the king sits on g7 with no g-pawn guarding it, while the white queen can leap into the attack with tempo. A forcing check sequence drives the exposed king toward the rim, where its own rooks and pawns wall it in. Once the monarch is trapped, the initiative belongs to the attacker — the checks keep coming and Black can only run. King safety beats material every time.
