Learn How to Win Material: Saragossa Opening
This puzzle is a classic opening-to-middlegame tactical shot where king safety outweighs material. White’s king is stuck in the center, the kingside is loose, and a well-placed black queen can create a forcing attack against the exposed king. Even though White may be materially ahead, active pieces and direct threats matter more than static count. In classical chess, these positions often reward forcing moves that keep the opponent in check and deny counterplay.
