Learn How to Win Material: Kingside Attack
This Ruy Lopez puzzle shows how a kingside attack can turn into a decisive material gain when the enemy king is slightly exposed and key defenders are overloaded. White’s pieces are active, and the position contains multiple tactical motifs at once: a pin on the f-pawn, a hanging bishop, and pressure against the king’s shelter. In classical chess, these are the kinds of positions where a forcing sequence can win material by removing a defender and breaking coordination.
