Learn How to Win Material: Torre Attack Tactic
This Torre Attack puzzle shows a classic middlegame idea: use forcing moves to win material by attacking a defender. White’s setup has active bishops and queen pressure, while Black’s pieces are slightly overextended around the king and queen. The key concept is that one tactical capture can remove a key defender, after which the remaining pieces become vulnerable to a follow-up capture. In classical chess, these sequences often decide the game before any direct attack on the king appears.
