Learn How to Win Material: Pin Tactic
This puzzle comes from the Nimzo-Larsen Attack, Symmetrical Variation, where Black uses active piece placement to create a direct tactical problem in the center. The key idea is a pin on the white knight that ties the defender to the king, making a seemingly ordinary exchange much stronger than it first appears. In practical classical chess, these positions often reward the side with better development and king safety, especially when the opponent’s king is still in the center.
