Learn How to Win Material: Fork Tactic
This puzzle comes from the Nimzo-Larsen Attack and shows a classic opening tactic where a central pawn capture creates immediate problems for two of Black’s pieces at once. The key idea is not a flashy attack on the king, but a clean tactical gain in the middlegame: White uses the position of the bishop and knight to force a favorable exchange sequence. In practical classical chess, these motifs often appear when development is uneven and one side’s pieces are lined up on vulnerable squares.
