Learn How to Win Material: Tactical Refutation
This puzzle comes from the Nimzo-Indian Defense and shows a classic middlegame tactical refutation. The key idea is that an active queen can create multiple threats at once: it may attack an undefended piece, pin a defender, and force the opponent into a losing sequence. In positions like this, material count matters, but king safety and piece coordination matter just as much. When a piece is overloaded or trapped, a simple capture can collapse the whole position.
