Indian Defense Przepiorka Variation Puzzle (Rated 1109): Win Material — Discovered Attack
This middlegame puzzle is a classic example of a discovered attack combined with a forcing king-side tactic. White’s bishop creates a direct threat against the enemy king while also opening lines for the queen to hit loose pieces. The key idea is that one tactical shot can do more than one job: check the king, win material, and expose overloaded defenders. In classical chess, these combinations often decide the game immediately because the opponent’s pieces are poorly coordinated.
