Learn How to Spot Kingside Attack: Indian Defense Tactic
This puzzle comes from the Indian Defense and shows how a kingside attack can outweigh material. Black’s pieces are coordinated around White’s king, and the key idea is to exploit the weakened king safety created by piece placement and tactical alignment. Even though White may appear materially better, active pieces and forcing threats can turn the position into a decisive attack. In classical chess, initiative often matters more than static material when the king is exposed.
