Learn How to Win Material: Fork Tactics
This puzzle comes from the Grob Opening and shows how a sharp tactical idea can override static material. Black’s active knight jumps into the position with tempo, creating a fork against key white pieces and exposing the white king’s lack of safety. Even though White appears materially ahead, the position is dominated by piece activity and tactical threats. In classical chess, this is a reminder that development and king safety can matter more than raw material in the opening.
