Learn How to Crush the Opening: Tactical Refutation
This puzzle shows a classic opening punishment where fast development and king safety outweigh raw material. White’s pieces are active, the black king is stuck in the center, and the weakened kingside gives White a direct tactical target. In these positions, the right move is often a forcing queen check that drags the king into a worse square and opens lines for the rest of the attack. The idea is not slow maneuvering, but immediate exploitation of the exposed king.
