Learn How to Win the Kingside Attack: English Opening
This puzzle comes from the English Opening and shows how a kingside attack can turn a quiet-looking middlegame into a tactical win. White’s pieces appear active, but the king’s shelter is vulnerable and key defenders are overloaded. Black uses forcing moves to create a direct threat against the king while also winning material. The lesson is that in classical chess, initiative and piece activity can outweigh static material if the opponent’s king-side coordination is loose.
