Learn How to Win with Discovered Attack: English Opening
This puzzle shows a classic opening tactic where one piece move opens a line for a stronger attacker behind it. In the English Opening, that often means exploiting loose coordination on the queenside and the center at the same time. The key idea is that a pinned or overloaded defender can’t respond to both the direct threat and the hidden threat. When the position is tactically sharp, a forcing sequence can win material immediately while also exposing the king.
