Learn How to Deflect: Bishop Sacrifice
This puzzle is a classic opening tactic built around deflection and king safety. White uses a forcing bishop sacrifice to drag the black king away from its defensive duties, exposing the queen and the back rank. Even though Black is materially ahead, the position is tactically unstable because the king is centralized and several black pieces are undeveloped or overloaded. In classical chess, such dynamic factors can outweigh static material, especially in the middlegame.
