Learn How to Win Material: Tactical Refutation
This classical chess puzzle comes from the Center Game, Paulsen Attack Variation and shows how a single defensive move can create a tactical refutation. White’s king is still exposed in the center, while Black’s active bishop and knight coordinate to exploit pins, overloaded defenders, and a hanging piece. The position is a good example of how opening development can turn into a winning combination when the opponent’s pieces are not yet coordinated.
