Learn How to Win Material: Fork Tactic
This puzzle shows a classic tactical idea in the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit: using a knight fork to create a decisive material gain. Black’s active knight jumps into the heart of White’s position, attacking multiple targets at once while also checking the king. Because White’s pieces are awkwardly placed and the king is still in the center, the fork is especially powerful. In practical chess, these motifs often decide the game before any long strategic plan can matter.
