Learn How to Win by Fork: Opening Tactic
This puzzle comes from the Alekhine Defense and shows how a single tactical shot can turn an opening advantage into a decisive attack. White’s king is still in the center, pieces are overloaded, and the queen and bishop coordination creates tactical vulnerabilities. In positions like this, a fork is especially powerful when it also gives check, because the opponent must respond to the king threat first. That often wins material or forces a collapse in development.
