Learn How to Deflection: Mate in 4
This puzzle is a classic middlegame attacking pattern where White’s queen and bishop coordinate against the king’s shelter. The key idea is deflection: forcing a defender away from an important square so the king’s cover collapses. Even though Black is materially ahead, king safety dominates the position. In classical chess, these tactical moments often outweigh static material because one accurate forcing sequence can create a mating net before the defender can regroup.
